Daily students attend tutorials Each tutorial lasts 100 minutes and is hold onece a week during the semester. As the tutorial are organized in a limited extend for the distant students, these have a possibility of individual consultations. In case of distant students, the instructions are focused on self-study based on electronic materials available on the school intranet.

Completion of individual tests during the semester, satisfactory performance at seminars, succesfull completion of final credit test

1. week: Study guide, description of the school I study, comparing my university with a foreign university presented in the video
2. week: Lesson 1 - Listening activities, differences between the university by studying and foreign university from video. Examples of specialized texts, work with dictionaries., Grammar: time present simple and continuous
3. week: Lesson 2 -Chemistry and mater -, basic phrases, professional reading, listening exercises, description of a simple graph
4. week: Lesson 3 - All about atoms. Reading and listening scientific text, description of an atom, vocabulary, grammar: irregular verbs
5. week: Lesson 4 - Halogens. vocabulary, reading and listening professional texts, the passive voice
6. week: Lesson 4 - thematic listening "Fluorine, chlorine", vocabulary, oral description of the individual elements of the halogen group
7. week: Lesson 5 - Inorganic Nomenclature I - Vocabulary "Chemical Elements” listening and reading , verbal aspects, thematic listening, describing a simple chemical reaction
definite, indefinite, no article in professional texts, names of non-oxoacids, the basic differences in the English and Czech chemical nomeclature
8. week - Lesson 6 - Inorganic nomenclature II - names of binary and ternary compounds, oxoacids and their salts, thematic listening
9. week – Lesson 6-practicing inorganic nomenclature, more complex cases, the names of acids containing chlorine and manganese and their salts, reading chemical equations
10. –week- Lesson 7-Organic Chemistry I, nomenclature and classification of organic compounds, types of bonds in organic chemistry. Thematic listening.
11. week -Lesson 7 - practicing organic nomenclature
12. weeks- Lesson 8- Organic nomenclature II- types of reactions in the organic chemistry. Reading and interpretation of "Molecular Drama", revision of explained topics

Development of vocabulary, grammar of specific texts, devekopment of reading skills in both reading for gists and specific information, writing and listening skils with the aim to pass B1 level exam. Understending the meaning of shorter writen texts, writing of simpler specific texts,, listening practice leading to the ability of getting the specific information from the spoken language. Develpment of speaking skills, description of a simple method, procedure or equipment.

Students attend one 100- minute semminar a week. The attendance at seminars is monitored. The part-time students also participte in organized lessons and they can consult the course issues with teachers.
