Efficiency of tubular silicon carbide heat exchangers
The work is closely related to the issue of separation of airborne pollutants, which is most effective at low temperatures when absorption is used. Therefore, the efficiency of heat exchange in heat exchangers is mainly investigated at different conditions, in particular the flow velocities of the heat transfer media, which are coolant and moist air. The effect of moisture condensation and the use of thermal insulation on heat exchange is also investigated. The results measured on a borosilicate glass heat transfer surface and a silicon carbide heat transfer surface, which has advantageous properties for the application, are compared.

Effect of organic additives in different alkali-activated binders
The paper deals with the influence of organic additives (lignosulfonate plasticizer, hexylene glycol) on the rheological properties of AAM. In this work, the rheological properties of non-additivated AAMs depending on the choice of the activator and then the influence of the mentioned additives are investigated for the characterization of the precursors. These measurements are then complemented by the determination of the amount of LS additive adsorbed onto the selected precursors in NaOH, NaVS and Na2CO3 media and by the determination of the zeta potentials of the selected plasticized AAPs. Elucidation of the chemical composition of butterfly cuticle by Raman spectroscopy
This presentation is about a practical internship at Paris Lodron Universität in Salzburg, the aim of which was to investigate the chemical composition of the wings of selected butterfly species using Raman spectroscopy. The measured spectra, the evaluation of the results and the theoretical background of the so-called 3D photo crystals are presented. In the second part of the presentation, a literature search is presented regarding the issues and potential applications of semiconductor ceramics.

New organic materials for bioelectronics applications
Organic conjugated polymers are the basic functional elements of bioelectronic devices. A wide portfolio of such polymers exists, but these polymers often exhibit some limitations such as low sensitivity, stability or biocompatibility. The synthesis of new suitably functionalized polymeric materials aims to overcome these shortcomings. In my presentation, I will introduce thiophene building blocks with originally constituted side chains, its polymers and copolymers. The studied compounds provide a platform for a new class of materials for organic electrochemical transistors (OECT), for biosensors and other applications in organic bioelectronics.
