FoodTech congress Novi Sad
The FoodTech congress took place in the Serbian city of Novi Sad on 16th to 18th October. It was focused on the development and innovation of food technologies, food safety and quality and new trends in the food industry. Representatives of Institute of food chemistry and biotechnology, Jaromír Pořízka Ph.D. and Ing. Zuzana Slavíková participated the congress and both contributed with their lectures to the scientific program of the event. Jaromír Pořízka with his presentation Application of protein powders in production of high-protein pastry and breads was included in the Proteins for the Future session. Zuzana Slavíková with her presentation Wheat bran: Alternative protein source was awarded 2nd place in the young scientists section.
