Laboratory Classes in Ionizing Radiation Detection and Measurement
FCH-MCO_DMI_PAcad. year: 2009/2010
introduce students to various types of detectors used to measure ioonizing radiations and general properties of radiation detection,
explain the statistical nature of radiation,
introduce the analysis and process of experimental results, to the concept of experimental uncertainty.
teach students how to make basic laboratory measurements and report laboratory results;
show students properties of radiation and its measurement in practice.
