Introduction into politology, basic conceptions, comparation of politics and politology, the most important political systems - republic, kingdom, empire, democracy versus totalitarianism, problems of the modern democracy, the principles of the czech constitutional law - political parties, free elections etc., principles of international public law - diplomacy, rules of the war, contemporary political situation inthe Czech Republic and abroad, European Union

Learning outcomes of the course unit
They will familiarize with conception democracy and with its main atributes like for example free elections.
Good knowledge of this subject schould help to students to create better imagination about current world politics and adopt own position
