Course detail
Detection and Measurement of Ionizing Radiation
FCH-MCO_DMIAcad. year: 2009/2010
The course provides an overview of the metrology concept, instruments and techniques in the detection and measurement of ionizing radiation, and increased understanding of the physical processes underlying detection a application of radiation. It supports understanding of the principles of operation of various detector. The course introduces the analysis and process of experimental results, to the concept of experimental uncertainty. Also basic radiation protection principles are set up.
