Analytical Chemistry of Special Practical Domain

Characreristics of applied analytical chemistry. Problems with the use of samples coming from real objects. Syrvey of modern destructive and non-destructive instrumental methods for the analysis of real objects. Contemporaneous trends in environmental analytical chemistry. Approaches for analysis of atmosphere, waters, soils, sediments and biological objects. Limits and selectivity of analytical procedures. Evaluation of analytical results for real samples. Significance of hyphenated analytical methods for analysis of element speciations. Preparation and decomposition of inorganic, organic and biologic samples.Analytical aspects of environmental ozone, radone and acid rains. Characteristics and analytical procedures for essential and toxic elements with special regards to Pb, Hg, Cd, As, Se, Te, Be, Al, Pt, U, Tl, Cr, or Ni. Inorganic and organic speciations of elements in environment and methods for their determination. Principles of inorganic trace analysis and preconcentration of elements. Use of sensors in the analytical practice.
