The final exam is written with the possibility of an oral examination.
Aims
The aim of the subject is to provide students with an overview of the basics of electrical engineering and the basic range of automation devices used to control the production process. Students will also gain an overview of the function of individual industrial components, as well as their parameters and basic properties. The basics of systems theory and their management will also be presented.
The student is able to:
- orient yourself in the basics of electrical engineering.
- describe the automation means according to the function in the automation system.
- orient yourself in the types of industrial production and describe their characteristics.
- describe the basic parameters of common industrial sensors and actuators.
- describe the function of resources in the management structure of a production enterprise.
- define basic concepts from the theory of systems and management.
