Selected chapters from spectroscopic methods including their theoretical bachground with stress to newest advanced methods with respect to student's disertation theses.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Student will give a presentation about given diagnostic technique (techniquies) for about 30 minutes. After that broad discussion for about next 30 minutes will be given.
Students must participate at exams of their colleagues.

Aims

Course gives an overwiev through the spectroscopic methods used for the common chemical analyses as well as they will obtain a basic knowledge about modern spectroscopic methods basen on the laser technics. The construction and properties of spectrometers are included too.
Student will obtain detail knowledge about advanced spectroscopic methods applicable for his/her disertation thesis. The broader overview will be checked during the final exam.
