Definitions and basic characteristics of individual technologies using renewable and non-fossil energy sources. Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is intended to contribute to the understanding of the interconnectedness of individual areas environmental protection with an emphasis on the issue of the impact of renewable and non-fossil energy sources on the cleanliness of air, water and soil, including their correct incorporation as a landscape element.
Particular attention is paid to the complex understanding of the technological processes leading to the optimal use of individual alternative energy sources.
Students will become acquainted with high energy technologies and their safety. Special concepts in radiation technologies and current trends will be explained.
Students will master the principles and philosophy of using renewable energy resources, including the ability to design their own simple technological units.
