Basic course in physical chemistry, applied colloid chemistry.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Evaluation is based on the written report on the performed tasks and on the selected project, its results and achievements and on active participation in the final presentation (workshop). Additionally, evaluation includes also student activity during tuitions.
Participation in project realization and tuition, oral presentation.

Aims

Practical experience in applied colloid chemistry, applications of colloid systems and team work.
Practical experience in preparation and characterization of colloid systems.

Syllabus

1. Introduction - team creating, instructions and suggestions for project topics.
2.-4. Selection of project topic, appointing of tutor; realization of prescribed basic laboartory tasks.
3.-7. Experimental project proposal, consultation with tutor; realization of prescribed basic laboartory tasks.
8.-11. Experimental work on the propsed project, consultation with tutor.
12. Final report, preparing presentation for workshop.
13. Workshop.
