Oral exam at the end of the course.
Attendance at lectures is recommended but not checked. An integral part of the teaching and the combined form of teaching is the e-learning course, divided into blocks within which students are available to support learning, including electronic textbooks, presentations, lectures and other supplementary materials.
Students of combined forms of study are consulted on topics discussed. The counseling is also provided for full-time students on-demand.
Aims
• technological processes and equipment for the treatment of drinking water,
• drinking water quality requirements,
• technological processes and equipment for sewage treatment,
The aim of the Water Technology course is to acquaint students with:
• technological processes and equipment for the treatment of drinking water,
• drinking water quality requirements,
• technological processes and equipment for sewage treatment,
• Quality requirements for waste water discharged
To provide students with the theoretical basis for successful mastering of courses in chemistry and water technology in the post-graduate master study.
Get acquainted with the latest information that can be used in current practice in water treatment and treatment technology.
Passing the course will increase students' competencies as follows:
1. Students will acquire the knowledge and knowledge necessary to understand the basic processes that take place in natural waters, waste water.
2. Students will acquire knowledge of technological processes in water treatment and off-water purification.
3. They will be oriented to the current system of valid standards for water quality.
4. They will acquire knowledge of physicochemical and biological methods used in water technology.
5. Students will acquire knowledge that is a prerequisite for application in both scientific and technical practice.
