Course detail
Chemistry and Physics of Materials
FCH-BC_CHFMAcad. year: 2023/2024
The course aims to provide basic knowledge of Materials Chemistry and Physics. Emphasis is placed on (i) the basic properties of the solid phase, (ii) the understanding of the underlying phenomena that are in the solid phase and (iii) the examples of applications where these materials are used. Part of the course is a brief introduction to the techniques of studying selected properties. The course ends with an outline of possible future applications of advanced materials.
