Learning outcomes of the course unit
1st Students will be able to apply theoretical knowledge obtained in other subjects in the
practical field of wastewater treatment technologies;
2nd Students will learn the use of chemical, physical-chemical, physical and
biological processes for wastewater treatment;
3rd Students will gain knowledge and insights that are essential to understanding the basic
processes that take place in the biological and chemical wastewater treatment;
4th Students will gain knowledge that are prerequisites needed to use both in science and in
engineering practice;
5th Students will understand the problems of the natural water cycle and each cycle of water
use in human activities.
