1. History, definition of special toxicology, terminology, principles.
2. Overview of toxic effects of substances, characteristics, examples of substances.
3. Toxicological characteristics of elements, inorganic and organometallic compounds.
4. Toxicological characteristics of selected organic groups and compounds.
5. Toxicological characteristics of toxins of fungi, cyanobacteria, algae.
6. Toxicological characteristics of plant toxins of toxicologically important plant species (alkaloids, biologically active substances).
7. Toxicological characteristics of toxins of animals, toxicologically important species of animals.
8. Radiotoxicology and toxicology of chemical warfare agents.
9. Case studies.
10. Tests of viability and cytotoxicity.
11. Preparation of biotic and abiotic matrix samples for analysis.
12. Identification of selected alkaloids by FTIR methods.
13. Detection and identification of active ingredients and excipients by FTIR methods.
