Advanced Colloids Chemistry

FCH-DA_KPDAcad. year: 2020/2021

The course contains selected chapters from advanced colloid chemistry, preferably focused on the issue of students' dissertations:
Significance and types of colloids in biological systems. Van der Waals and electrostatic forces in colloids. Association colloids of amphiphiles. Structure and properties of micellar systems. Bilayer systems of biological systems. Colloidal stability. Phase equilibria of colloids. Experimental techniques of colloid chemistry.
