Course detail
Environmental Sampling
FCH-BC_ZVEAcad. year: 2020/2021
In the course, the student gets acquainted in detail with the principles of proper sampling of individual environmental matrices and biotic samples, including the use of statistics to estimate the size of the matrix taken. SOP processing for sampling areas. The basis of the course will also be to acquaint students with quality assurance and sampling quality for the complex area of environmental analysis, ie for all components of the environment, including all biological and environmental matrices. Lectures will focus on sampling of drinking and groundwater, surface water from water reservoirs and running water, including sediments, rainwater and on the sampling of wastewater, sludge from wastewater treatment plants and extracts from them. The next part will be devoted to sampling of municipal and hazardous waste, soil sampling and sampling of biotic matrices. They will get acquainted with the principles of active and passive sampling in the sampling technique.
