Original Abstract

The study investigated low-temperature microwave plasma's effects on Candida glabrata, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Escherichia coli, both individually and in co-cultivation. Plasma treatment inhibited microorganisms on solid nutrient media, but in suspension, killing efficiency was lower, likely due to the limited generation of reactive species caused by the experimental setup.
