Original Abstract
Paper gives the comparison of several decomposition mechanisms taking place during the diaphragm discharge treatment of water solutions containing organic dyes (Direct Red 79 and Direct Blue 106). Effects of OH radicals, UV radiation, electrochemical reactions as well as ozone contribution on the dye degradation are discussed. The different decomposition efficiency was observed for both dyes.
