Přehled možností nenergetických aplikací lignitu (např. jako sorbentu, hnojiva, zdroje humínových látek), doplněný o vlastní experimentální poznatky.

English abstract

Potential non-energetical applications of lignite are reviewed and illustrated by experimental results obtained with South Moravian lignite. Lignite can be used in natural form, e.g., in sorbent or fertilizer technologies, or as a source of humic substances with versatile applications. Humic substances may be used as soil conditioners and remediators, suppliers of plant nutrients, sorbents, rheological additives, colorants etc. Lignite should be viewed not as a low-quality fuel but as a valuable raw material for production of large variety of chemical specialities.
