Original Abstract

The study explored low-temperature microwave plasma and streamer corona discharge on yeasts Candida glabrata and bacteria Staphylococcus epidermidis and Escherichia coli. Microwave plasma inhibited microorganisms on solid nutrient media. Streamer corona discharge, applied locally and via surface scan, also inhibited microorganisms, with surface scan proving more effective.
