Original Abstract

The study examined surface scan plasma treatment on Staphylococcus epidermidis and Escherichia coli on solid nutrient media. Using a unipolar microwave discharge with argon, the treatment duration was key to decontamination, while direction and rate were less critical. No resistance developed after repeated treatments in pilot experiments.
