Original Abstract
3D printing is a widespread technique that is effectively used e.g. for the fabrication of specific parts and enables accurate software design architecture. The portfolio of materials for extrusion 3D printing of plastics is very limited, only multicolored filaments without special properties are commercially available. We developed and optimized the production technique of polymer nanocomposite with a chemical blowing agent (azodicarbonamide) suitable for 3D printing based on high impact polystyrene (HIPS). In practical terms, this material reflects the increasing demand for 3D printing materials with enhanced properties. From a fundamental point of view, it is a material with a highly organized hierarchical structure – nanoparticle organization and interactions with matrix on the nanoscale, block copolymer domains, microporosity on microscale, mesoporosity, and 3D printed structure on mesoscale and shape of 3D printed body in macroscale.
