Original Abstract
The main aim of this work is to study biodegradation of chicken feather by selected Pseudomonas strains revealing keratinase activity and which are also capable of polyhydroxyalkanoates accumulation. Non-treated chicken feather was used as the sole carbon substrate for cultivation of bacteria Psudomonas putida KT2440 and two strains isolated from diesel polluted areas: Pseudomonas fulva and Pseudomonas gessardii.
Keywords
