Original Abstract

Předkládaná práce uvádí některé zajímavé události z historie týkající se stavu a vývoje životního prostředí a antropogenních aktivit, které se na těchto událostech podílely nebo je přímo způsobily, s cílem zdůraznit nezbytnost ekologického chování jedince i celé společnosti. V další části se věnuje jedné z nejdůležitějších analytických metod sloužících k poznání stavu životního prostředí – hmotnostní spektrometrii. Na to navazuje přehled problémů, které v současnosti vyvstávají k řešení v oblasti technologie ochrany životního prostředí a ke kterým analytická chemie musí poskytnout relevantní informace. V závěrečné části jsou pak prezentovány názory autora na budoucnost chemie a technologie ochrany životního prostředí, a to jak v oblasti výuky, tak i v praktických aplikacích.

English abstract

The presented work describes selected interesting events from the history of the state and development of the environment and anthropogenic activities that contributed to these events or directly caused them, in order to emphasize the importance of ecological behaviour of individuals and society. The next section deals with one of the most important analytical methods used to evaluate the state of the environment - mass spectrometry. This is followed by an overview of the problems that currently arise for solutions in environmental technology and analytical chemistry is expected to provide the relevant information in this field. The final section then presents the author's views on the future of chemistry and technology of environmental protection, both in teaching and in practical applications.
