Virtuální chemická laboratoř v žádném případě nemůže nahradit skutečnou a reálnou zkušenost z chemické laboratoře. K takovému účelu tento projekt "Virtuální chemická laboratoř" nevznikl a proto ani sloužit nemůže. Virtuální chemická laboratoř vás ale může velmi dobře připravit pro vstup do laboratoře skutečné. Učit se některé věci až při vstupu do laboratoře na místě je zkrátka pozdě, věřte, že i tak budete zahlceni řadou dalších informací. Předem se seznamte s vybavením, na které můžete v laboratoři narazit a měli byste jej proto znát, vyzkoušejte si, zda znáte správný postup při sestavování jednoduchých aparatur. Pochopte zákonitosti, na jejichž základě probíhají nejdůležitější operace (např. filtrace, krystalizace, destilace). Abyste se v laboratoři cítili jako doma, musíte ji jako svůj domov znát.
