Original Abstract

This work was aimed at biotechnological conversion of inexpensive waste substrates such as cheese whey, wheat bran, buckwheat, apple waste or apple fiber into high value produkt - carotenoids and ergosterol. Moreover, enriched biomass and intracellular lipids were studied. Cystofilobasidium capitatum as a potential producer for biotechnological application was discussed.
