On the project

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), a reactive oxygen species, plays a pivotal role in modulating biological processes within organisms. Balanced levels are essential for redox signaling, but excessive H2O2 can lead to cellualr toxicity. This project introduces a novel approach to precisely generate H2O2 using organic semiconductor microparticles, presenting new possibilities for direct stimulation of cells.
