Projekt je zaměřen na výzkum a vývoj nové konstrukce metalicky stíněných silových kabelů, která bude mít stínění elektromagnetického záření podpořeno částečně vodivým polymerním kompozitem.
Description in English
The aim of the project is to develop a new design of metallic shielded power cables that will have electromagnetic radiation shielding supported by a partially conductive polymer composite as upgrade of the commonly used cable filler. The basic premise is to develop polymer composite materials that are partially electrically conductive in addition to the normal requirements for cable filling. This will be achieved by the application of semiconducting carbon particles and hybrid organic-inorganic shielding micro and nanoparticles. The project also aims to introduce the production of composite materials and new cables into series production. The newly developed cables will contain less copper in the shielding, making them cheaper, lighter and reducing their carbon footprint.
