On the project
In the presented study, we would like to examine cell interactions in 3D environment of porous collagenous matrices using the non-invasive, label-free technique of coherence-controlled holographic microscopy. Moreover, these materials will be enriched by various bioactive substances resulting in different effect on cellular activity and interactions with collagen substrate. The results should bring up new knowledge about cell-to-matrix interactions of dermal cells with 3D-structured biosubstrates and help the promotion of coherence-controlled holographic microscopy in tissue engineering.
