On the project

Description in English
The goal of the submitted project is to develop a cheap thin film field effect transistor, based on the organic substances. The utilization of this component is possible to expect in all-plastic display panels. For this purpose it is necessary to optimize the transport of charge carriers (photo generated and electrode injected)in thin films and space charge forming properties of chosen organic semiconductors (low molecular and polymeric ones).Whereas in crystalline organic and anorganic materials and today in amorphous anorganic semiconductors is the phenomenon of charge carrier transport experimentally and theoretically comparatively well mastered, in organic molecular substances is complicated by energy and topological disorder existence. We supposeto develop and use several methods, enabling to gain insight into mobility of charge carriers, their localization, influence of traps on the kinetics of electrical and photoelectical response and dispersive character of charge carriers transport.
