On the project
This projects is focused on the novel biomimetical approach using external magnetic field directing bottom-up assembly of magnetic nanoparticles into micro sized superstructures in liquid polymer matrix. Kinetics of structure formation will be studied with the respect to the controlling parameters such as field strength, viscosity of system and particle concentration. Mechanical properties of these assembled nanocomposites will be measured and structure-property relationships will be investigated.
