Chemservis spol. s r.o. and the Brno University of Technology are implementing the project “Development of a Methodology for SPF Measurement” from 18 July 2023 to 31 March 2024. The project addresses the material properties of various types of ingredients, including the potential use of new types of natural materials for UV protection and verifying their direct and indirect influence on SPF and UVA protection. Various types of formulations with concentration ranges of UV filters and carriers are being measured, and their interactions are being generalized in terms of the resulting SPF and UVA protection indicators.
The project is co-financed by the European Union. ________________________________________

NAFIGATE Corporation a.s., in cooperation with Datamar International, s.r.o. and the Brno University of Technology, is implementing the project “New Circular Biotechnologies and Biomedical Applications” from 1 January 2021 to 31 May 2023.
The project aims to validate two technologies:
Within the New Biotechnologies activity, the aim is to identify new potential sources for PHA production, which will expand the raw material base for the Hydal biotechnology and increase its competitiveness, and to develop biotechnological production of special polymers with properties suitable for applications in health care, medicine, and cosmetics.
Within the Biomedical activity, the aim is to extend the application potential of the Hydal biotechnology to materials for use in biomedical practice. The Hydal technology provides fully natural PHA biomaterials that are suitable for such applications due to their natural biocompatibility and biodegradability, assuming proper production and processing technologies.
