FCH students excelled at an International Student Conference in Nitra

Master's students of the Chemistry for Medical Applications program, Bc. Petr Haleš and Bc. Barbora Hlaváčková, successfully represented the Faculty of Chemistry at an international student conference in Nitra, Slovakia. They actively participated in the 23rd Scientific Conference of Bachelor’s and Master’s Students with International Participation, organized by the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Slovak University of Agriculture.

Petr Haleš impressed the expert panel with his presentation on the topic “The Effect of Biochar on the Distribution of Organic Matter in Soil” and received a special award for Practical Contribution.

Both students are long-time active participants in professional competitions, and their success confirms not only their dedication but also the high level of preparation provided to students at FCH BUT.
