Students from IFSBT at the conference in Piešt'any
On 20-22 March, the 21st Scientific Conference with international participation on Food Safety and Control was held in Piešt'any, Slovakia, under the leadership of the Slovak institution potravinarstvo.sk. The conference was held right in the area of Spa Island in the Ensana Esplanade Congress Centre.The programme included scientific and technical lectures in the field of food, food control and laboratory diagnostics. Among the speakers there were presentations by companies, news in the field of legislative standards and lectures by experts from various food sectors. The individual papers were divided into seven sections, namely Current Issues in Food Hygiene and Safety, Microbiological and Mycological Food Safety, Chemical Food Safety, Nutrition and Food Safety, Safety and Control of Milk and Dairy Products, Safety and Control of Meat and Meat Products and Safety and Control of Food of Plant Origin.
The conference was attended by the team of Associate Professor Pavel Divis, consisting of Doc. Jaromír Pořízka, Ing. Jakub Nábělek and Ing. Kristina Trenzová. Their contributions can be viewed on the website potravinarstvo.sk in the poster section or in the proceedings of the scientific papers
