Participation and awards of our students at the International Chemical Technology Conference ICCT in Mikulov
On 15-17 April, the 11th International Chemical Technology Conference ICCT was held in Mikulov. The conference was held as every year in the Galant Hotel with a number of lecture halls named after wine varieties. The expert programme was mainly devoted to technological issues that chemical companies and firms have been confronted with for a long time, such as the impact of decarbonisation and Green Deal commitments. However, the thematic areas also included topics related to biotechnology, new materials, organic technologies, hydrogen strategies and many others. On the last day of the conference, there was the opportunity to take an excursion to the LAMA GAS & OIL s.r.o. natural gas production centre.
Representatives from the Faculty of Chemistry BUT presented in the form of lectures and poster presentations. The prize for the best poster was awarded to Juraj Vodička with his contribution Kinetic perspective on biodegradable plastics degradability. Other participants included Diana Černayová, Jiří Holub, Vendula Hrabalová, Viktoria-Alexandra Pacasová, Radim Stříž, Samuel Šimanský, Katarína Šlosárová and Pavel Vostrejš.
