Awards for our students at the student conference in Trnava

On Wednesday, 17 April 2024, the traditional Student Scientific Conference took place in Trnava, co-organised by the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, together with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra and the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. It is basically a competitive showcase of scientific works of students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd level of university studies, students have the opportunity to publicly present the results of their work before an expert committee.
This year the conference included a rich programme in various sections, e.g. Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, Didactics, etc.
Our Institute was represented at the conference by Ing. Michal Gross in the section of PhD students and Pavlína Knapovská in the section "Biotechnology" of Master students. In the competition of students from the mentioned universities, both of them were among the three winners in their respective section. Their papers can be found on the conference website in the proceedings.
