A new project within the framework of cooperation BUT FCH a NMBU!
The ‘Idestimulering 1650026225’ project was approved on which associate professor Volha Shapaval from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and students from Institute of Food Science and Biotechnology, Faculty of Chemistry under leadership of Dr. Simona Dzurendová will collaborate. The team of prof. Lucy Vojtová from CEITEC BUT will participate as well. As part of this project, biopolymers extracted from the biomass of filamentous fungi will be tested. The goal is to obtain new knowledge about the activity of fungal polysaccharides compared to their traditional sources (shrimps, mushrooms or filamentous fungi Aspergillus).
