Regional round of the Chemistry olympiad at FCH BUT
On Wednesday, 9 April 9 2025, the Faculty of Chemistry at Brno University of Technology hosted the regional round of the Chemistry Olympiad in category C. The competition welcomed talented high school students from across the region, who tested their knowledge and skills in the field of chemistry.
🥇 1st place: Petr Rusňák – Gymnázium Brno, Vídeňská, p. o.
🥈 2nd place: Jiří Kurdiovský – Gymnázium Tišnov, p. o.
🥉 3rd place: Jan Kotulán – Gymnázium Tišnov, p. o.
We thank all the contestants, organizers, and teachers who contributed to the preparation and smooth running of the event. It was an honor to host these young chemistry talents, and we hope to meet many of them again – perhaps during university entrance exams!
