Additive manufacturing technologies are becoming very popular for the fabrication of artificial bone substitutes. These substitutes have potential mainly in reconstructive medicine to heal complicated critical sized bone defects. The aim of this work is to study the thixotropic and biodegradable copolymer as binder for the robocasting of scaffolds, with particular focus on the effects on the mechanical properties in comparison with the previously used organic non-biodegradable binder.
