Čedičová vlákna jsou vhodnými výztužemi pro kompozitní materiály. Hlavními výhodami čedičových vláken jsou vysoké teploty použití, Youngův modul pružnosti a chemická odolnost. Předmětem studia byla vlákna určená pro vyztužení polyesterových a epoxidových pryskyřic. Jednotlivá vlákna byla testována v tahu s využitím citlivé siloměrné hlavy s rozsahem do 10 N a speciálních čelistí na uchycení vláken upnutých do papírových rámečků. Tahové charakteristiky byly vyhodnoceny za účelem stanovení středních hodnot modulu pružnosti, průtažnosti a pevnosti vláken s ohledem na Weibullovu distribuci. Morfologie povrchu vláken a lomové plochy byly sledovány pomocí řádkovací elektronové mikroskopie (SEM). Součástí studia bylo určení distribuce průměrů měřených vláken.

Anglický abstrakt

Basalt fibers are suitable as reinforcement elements for various composite materials. The main advantages of basalt fibers are higher operating temperature, Young’s modulus and chemical resistence. The aim of study was to design fibers for reinforcing polyester and epoxy resins. For testing the tensile strength was measured on monofilaments randomly extracted from a bundle of the fibre. A single fiber was mounted in the centre of the special thin paper with a glue. Tests were carried out at room temperature with the constant test speed using a tensile tester equipped with a 10 N load cell. The tension characteristics of fibers were evaluated in order to determine the mean values of modulus of elasticity, strain and strength with reference to a Weibull distribution. The morphology of surface fibers and the fracture surface were monitoring with the scanning electron microscopy. The determination of diameter distribution of measured fibers was the part of the studying.
