Recent advancements in stem cell-based therapies have shown promise in tissue regeneration, although challenges persist, notably in understanding the complex stem cell niche. Stem cells have broad applications in tissue engineering and innovative cancer treatments, particularly in their interactions with nanoparticles such as graphene oxide. Cutting-edge techniques like 3D bioprinting have revolutionized tissue engineering by mimicking the natural extracellular matrix, facilitating cell proliferation and differentiation. Furthermore, the emerging field of exosome-based therapies presents exciting opportunities in regenerative medicine. Our study focuses on isolating and characterizing exosomes derived from adipose stem cells for wound analysis. Stem cells were isolated from fat tissue with Collagen type 2 and characterized using flow cytometry. Additionally, exosomes were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS) machines and nanoparticle tracking analysis. We aim to utilize these exosomes in conjunction with graphene oxide nanoparticles to develop advanced biomaterials for diabetic wounds, highlighting the potential of stem cell technology in addressing clinical challenges.
