Originální abstrakt

A series of some new 1, 3-selenazoles substituted phthalazinone derivatives were synthesized by treating of 4-alkyl/aryl-phthalazin-1(2H)-one 2 with piperidine-1-carboselenoamide (3) in the presence in presence of ferric chloride. The structure of synthesized new compounds were characterized by spectral data and screened for their antimicrobial activities against various bacteria and fungi strains. Several of these compounds showed excellent antimicrobial activity.
