Fundamental principles, structure of electronic excited states, electronic absorption spectra, static and dynamic properties of excited states, Jablonski diagram and transitions between electronic excited states, kinetics of photophysical and photochemical processes. Sources of UV radiation. Basics of photochemical reactions, photocatalytic reactions. Imaging systems, photochemical imaging systems (light sensitive polymers, others), UV curing technology and systems, electrophotography, photodegradation and photostabilization of polymer materials, environmental photochemical processes and technologies. 3D print.

Pravidla hodnocení a ukončení předmětu

Study results are verified pursuant to Article 34, Paragraph 7 of Study and Examination Rules of BUT. Students are given a credit for submitting protocols for each technique they studied. Protocols are processed in the following format: principles of the technique, the aim and exact methods used for measurement, collected data, their evaluation and interpretation, assessment of the impact of the technique on biophysical practice.
